1. Information Collection

This extension does not collect or transmit personal information to external servers. The following data may be stored locally in your browser:

• Base resume and tailored resumes
• Customization preferences
• API key (entered by the user)
• Selected LLM model
• API URL (entered by the user)

2. Use of Data

• Resume data and preferences are used only to generate tailored resumes.
• API key, LLM model, and API URL are stored locally to enable the extension to connect to the user’s chosen language model service.
• No data is shared with third parties by the extension itself. Any data sent to external APIs is controlled by the user’s chosen API endpoint.

3. Permissions Justification

• activeTab: Used solely to read job description text from the page the user is viewing.
• storage: Used to save resumes, preferences, API key, LLM model, and API URL locally.
• Host permissions: Limited to job listing sites, only to extract job description text for tailoring resumes.

4. Data Security

All data is stored locally in the browser. The extension does not transmit information externally except when the user’s chosen API endpoint requires it. Users are responsible for the security of their API key and endpoint.

5. Changes to Policy

Updates will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
